  • Wonderful preschool book

I looked over the Go Go Life Skills book. As a teaching professional and mother of children, I looked with an eye on appropriateness, developmentally and educationally. I found this text to be a fine book to use in conjunction with parents as a supplement to the curriculum used in preschool. I would highly recommend to all parents to use this book to foster additional learning opportunities with their child.

  • Loved It!

My son is 4 years old (almost 5) and really liked this workbook. He was having so much fun! He is going to Kindergarten this year so I hoped he could understand the instructions and follow them; the book is easy to understand and so that was not an issue. I was told by my school district that we should provide workbooks to use to prep for class and so this book was perfect. It was not too difficult and not too easy. He really liked the sticker system which is used to mark his accomplishments with each page. The pictures are colorful and cute. I think all kids will have fun doing this workbook.

  • A great book of “homework” for my 4 year old

I used the workbook with my 4 year old as “homework” while her older sister did her actual homework. My daughter remained engaged in the workbook for a longer time than she has with other books we’ve tried. She said she liked the pictures. I found the exercises to be original and fun...stuff I hadn’t seen before. It’s like she forgot she was learning or having skills (numbers/shapes/size comparison/story sequencing) re-enforced. This was our first Gakken Workbook. We’d like to try more.

  • My daughter found the title to be funny, so even before we opened the book she was excited about it!

I have 2 children, and I am looking always for activities for my younger child to do while my older one completes her homework. We have tried a number of books, activities, etc., but the “Go Go Life Skills” book has been the most successful--by far. After introducing the book, I never again had to ask my daughter if she wanted to do her “homework”: she asked me for her “Go Go book” even when my older daughter was not studying herself. I will definitely buy more “Go Go” books for her.

  • I love the illustrations

I personally think the book is visually appealing to kids and adults. I was SO PLEASED to see the characters were in a variety of skin tones.

  • The book was great!

My daughter loves to “help” her older brother with his homework and so we thought she might enjoy some work of her own. The Gakken Workbook was just the right thing for her, with beautiful illustrations and fun activities to keep her engaged. I enjoyed the practice she was receiving with her pre-writing skills and also the notes for parents on each page. My daughter especially liked the reward stickers.

  • Educational fun!

This workbook offers many great developmentally appropriate activities for young children. The fun, bright illustrations and variety of exercises will surely make children’s learning an enjoyable experience. As a preschool teacher and mother of a 2 years old child, I am pleased to say that I will be using this book as a supplement to the curriculum at our school. Thank you for creating such a wonderful learning tool which will help foster children’s early education.

  • A Wonderful Discovery

We needed something stimulating for our three-year-old to work on while our kindergartener did his homework. Prior to this book, she primarily colored. We had no idea how much she would enjoy the mazes. A lot of activity books that we have purchased seem to be aimed at older children and the difficulty of the puzzles are above the skill set of three-year-olds. This one seemed just right. (And development of the fine motor skills is an important part of being three.) After our daughter completed the mazes, she really enjoyed coloring the pages. She mentioned several times how “cute” the characters are. Our five-year-old son was openly jealous of both the coloring and the mazes.

  • Amazing workbook for toddlers

I have got a “Go Go Mazes 3-5 years” for my daughter who is 3 years and 2 months old. I introduced it to her one evening after she came home from the day care, and once she tried it, she wanted to do more and more! My daughter loves mazes and she understood the concept of the problems pretty quickly, however she required some prompting as activities gradually became more complex. She never lost focus and interest while working on solving the problems, even when she needed some extra help, instead, she tried hard to understand and do her best. Some activities promote counting skills and all of them fine-motor skills through drawing different lines and shapes (if in the beginning she had a hard time staying within the lines, she did a lot better at the end).

I also have to mention how much she loved the stickers that come with the book! The quality of the workbook is excellent, pages are thick, they don’t tear, the colorful activities catch your attention right away. Overall, it was a great experience for us, quality time spent together with a benefit of learning. I’m getting more Gakken workbooks for my child!

  • Great maze activity book for young kids

My 4-year-old daughter loves mazes. This was the perfect activity book for her. She loved the mazes and they got more complex as she worked through the book. She was excited to get reward stickers after every activity. I think that working through the book helped with the way she writes lines, which can translate to better letter production when she writes. She enjoyed the book so much, she would have finished it all at once if she could have! I liked that she was engaged with something that wasn’t on a screen. I also liked the notes “to parents” that tells the benefits of the different activities.

  • Title is simple, and easy to know the contents of this book

My daughter was very interested in this book, and could not wait to finish all of those pages. Wipe-clean activity board is a very good idea. She liked to do it again and again.

  • My 2.5 year old boy loves the Drawing book!

My son’s favorite activities in the book were: 1. drawing faces (etc pig, boy) 2. stickers (of course), have to admit he sticked them all over the book, and 3. also he loved drawing legs of the crab and teeth of the crocodile (a great creative way to develop drawing skills). And as a mom I appreciated that each page has detailed instructions. So cues for parents is definitely an amazing part of the book! And just wanted to say thank you to the authors of the book for presenting kids and parents with such a variety of things to do: so many bright attractive pictures, it’s just a happy and entertaining book that also is very educational! Perfect!

  • It is a very useful workbook

My son loves colorful pictures and fun stickers. He recently started using those workbooks and could not focus long enough with other books, but this is not the case. Once he opened the page, he started drawing lines as instructed and did not even stand for the next 15 minutes. This book is very helpful for parents to keep children busy other than TV. Though some pages are difficult for 2.5 years old, the clear instruction is understandable even for 2 years old. I recommend this book as a first workbook for children.

  • Great for my daughter

The workbook was introduced to my 3 year old daughter who currently attends a Montessori Pre-school setting. She enjoyed connecting the lines and placing the stickers on pages. I feel a child can easily relate to the content in the workbook since many of the illustration are based on concepts regarding primary schooling. The instructions for parents, on how to use the workbook, are wonderful which help guide children focus on the purpose of each activity.

  • Fun base workbook

My son goes to daycare until 6pm on weekdays so I gave it to him while we have enough time on weekends. He liked the colorful fun design and was excited to work on it with markers. With this workbook, I’d like my son to be confident drawing lines and be familiar with shapes and numbers. Also I’d love to see his focus length to be longer while working with this fun book.

  • The title of this workbook is different from other workbooks

This workbook is fairly easy to use with only a few challenging pages. It is bright, colorful and very detailed. Every page has appropriate instructions. This workbook offers many different learning activities and exercises such as matching, counting, comparing, reasoning and allows them to get creative. Very eye-catching and engaging. My 4 year old son loved all the bright pictures & how big they were. He enjoyed doing the work because it was fun.
